Sweet Waters
There’s nothing left for Tara in landlocked Dexton, MO. She believes a move back to her childhood home of Otter Bay, California, will restore the fun and adventure she misses. Playing back memories of idyllic times spent with her father along the coast, a fairytale seems just around the corner… but it turns into a soap opera. Tara uncovers shocking secrets about why her family left all those years ago. And though she will have to question everything she has ever known, the faith that Tara depends upon will be sweeter than ever before.

The book trailer for Sweet Waters by Julie Carobini is a vibrant and entertaining teaser. Colorful graphics fall from the sky, and fonts slightly zany and fun, fall vertically, horizontally or speed side to side. The action moves along so swimmingly, it’s hard to believe 45 seconds have passed. A beachy theme resonates throughout with views of the coastline and starfish. Though there is no voiceover, the music and graphics set the tone perfectly and get the message across extremely well. I would definitely want to take a look at the book after seeing this trailer. And THAT is, after all, why we make ‘em!

    I give it FIVE Mullets!
